This Bank Holiday weekend, our timetables will be slightly different due to planned events and engineering work across our network and others.
We’ve made a number of scheduled changes, so please check your journey before you travel.
Friday 22 and Saturday 23 August 2025
We will be operating an amended timetable on both days in connection with Coldplay performing at Wembley Stadium.
On both days, an enhanced timetable will operate throughout the day with extra stops at Wembley stadium station and some additional trains.
On Saturday, a reduced service of one train per hour will operate between Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway during the afternoon and evening.

Sunday 24 and Monday 25 August 2025
An amended timetable will be in place due to the following:
No Chiltern Railways services between Marylebone – Amersham – Aylesbury Vale Parkway. Rail replacement buses will operate connecting with London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street at Amersham.
The line is also closed between London Euston and Birmingham New Street. We will be running extra and longer Chiltern Railways trains between Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street.
Because some trains will be too long for certain stations, rail replacement buses will run instead (for local journeys):
- Between Bicester North – Kings Sutton – Banbury
- Between Warwick Parkway – Hatton – Lapworth – Dorridge
In addition, replacement buses will run all day between:
- Leamington Spa – Warwick – Stratford-upon-Avon Parkway – Stratford-upon-Avon, connecting with trains at Leamington Spa.
