Line closure with rail replacement buses until 16:00 on Sunday 20 July 2025
What work is happening and why?
The engineering work 20 July will involve track works in the Dorridge area to help keep the railway and journeys safe and reliable for passengers and freight services. Additionally, the timing of this work is scheduled outside of busy travel periods to minimise disruption and avoid dates where sporting events are planned.
The railway is closed between Lapworth and Solihull until 16.00. During this period, rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Birmingham at Solihull and to/from Marylebone at Warwick Parkway:
- Warwick Parkway - Dorridge - Solihull.
Warwick Parkway - Hatton - Lapworth - Dorridge - Solihull.
The first through trains are as follows:
- 15.00 Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street.
- 16.37 Birmingham Moor Street - Marylebone.
