Thursday 26 & Friday 27 September 2024 - Urgent repairs to the railway at Aylesbury with daytime closures

Description
Emergency short-notice engineering works are taking place in the Aylesbury area tomorrow, Friday 27 September.

All lines will be closed from approximately 09:35 until 15:35. As a result, trains will be a reduced service or cancelled on the following routes:

  • Between Aylesbury and Princes Risborough
  • Between Aylesbury Vale Parkway / Aylesbury and London Marylebone via Amersham

Customer advice:

Rail replacement buses will run between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Amersham (for connection with London Metropolitan Line services), and between Aylesbury and Princes Risborough to help with your journey.

Tickets valid via Amersham will be accepted by London Underground between Amersham and Baker Street in both directions. 

Additionally, the 09:16 Aylesbury Vale Parkway to London Marylebone will run 5 minutes earlier than usual between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Amersham (times have been updated in journey planners).
