Sunday 12th September 2021:

Due to planned Network Rail engineering works, a heavily-amended timetable will be in operation.

  • Marylebone station is closed until 10:30. During this period trains will terminate/originate at West Ruislip and Amersham. London Underground services should be used to/from central London.
  • Buses replace trains between Bicester North and Oxford until approximately 10:00, with increased journey times.
  • Buses replace trains between Banbury and Leamington Spa all day, with increased journey times.

Due to planned London Underground engineering works between Aldgate and Harrow On the Hill, Chiltern Railways will be operating lengthened trains between Marylebone and Aylesbury/Aylesbury Vale Parkway from 10:30. This is in order to provide additional capacity between Marylebone and Harrow-On-The-Hill. Because these trains will be over-length, they will be unable to call at Rickmansworth.

Additionally, in connection with the Paralympics GB Homecoming event at Wembley Arena, numerous trains will call additionally at Wembley Stadium throughout the afternoon and evening.
