Upcoming Events at Wembley Stadium

England take on Australia on Saturday 25 October, as Rugby League returns to Wembley Stadium for another exciting afternoon at Wembley Stadium. The game starts at 14:30.

We'll be running an enhanced timetable for most of the day with extra stops at Wembley Stadium station as well as some additional trains.

With a journey time of less than ten minutes from London Marylebone, and the options of using Pay as you Go with contactless or Oyster, we make it easy to travel from central London to Wembley Stadium.

Please check your journey carefully as there are some variations to the usual timetables. 

Please note, the area around Wembley Stadium is an alcohol-free zone and the stadium also has a strict bag policy

Travelling to the England v Australia Rugby League game on Saturday 25 October?

The game is scheduled to start at 14:30.

An enhanced timetable will be in operation for most of the day, with additional Wembley Stadium stops in trains, and also some additional trains.

Other changes to the timetable on Saturday 25th October 2025:

An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

  • Wembley Stadium event - Rugby League (Great Britain vs Australia; 14.30 KO).
  • Euston - Birmingham New Street route closure.
  • No Chiltern Railways trains Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
     

An enhanced timetable will be in operation for most of the day, with additional Wembley Stadium stops in trains, and also some additional trains.

In respect of the Euston - Birmingham New Street route closure, an enhanced Chiltern Railways service will operate between Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street, with lengthened and some additional trains.

Rail replacement buses will operate between Leamington Spa - Warwick - Stratford Upon Avon Parkway - Stratford Upon Avon for the entire day, connecting with trains at Leamington Spa.

Additionally, no Chiltern Railways trains will operate on the route Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway for the entire day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street at Amersham:

  • Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

Travelling to the Springboks v Japan Rugby Union game at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 1 November?

A special timetable will be in operation on Saturday 1 November when the Springboks take on Japan as both teams kick start their northern hemisphere tours at Wembley Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 1610.

The enhanced timetable will be in operation for most of the day, with additional Wembley Stadium stops in trains, and also some additional trains.

After the game, there will be a simple queuing system in place (split Northbound / Southbound to Marylebone). Please follow guidance on the day to ensure that you join the correct queue for your journey home. 

 

Other changes to the timetable on Saturday 1st November 2025:

An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

  • Wembley Stadium event - Rugby Union (South Africa vs Japan; 16.10 KO).
  • Euston - Birmingham New Street route closure.
  • No Chiltern Railways trains Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
     

An enhanced timetable will be in operation for most of the day, with additional Wembley Stadium stops in trains, and also some additional trains.
