Sunday 3rd April 2022:

Due to planned engineering works in the Aynho Junction area, the railway is closed between Bicester North and Banbury all day. An amended timetable will be in operation, and rail replacement buses will operate as follows:

  • Bicester North - Banbury.
  • Bicester North - Kings Sutton - Banbury.

Additionally, due to planned London Underground engineering works, the railway is closed between Harrow On The Hill and Great Missenden. Chiltern Railways trains will operate between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and stations to Great Missenden. Connecting rail replacement buses will operate between Great Missenden - Amersham - Beaconsfield, for connecting trains to/from Marylebone.

Passengers travelling between Marylebone - Amersham and stations to/from Aylesbury Vale Parkway should travel via Beaconsfield.

There is also a Wembley Stadium event (Papa John's Trophy Final) during the afternoon. Many trains will call additionally at Wembley Stadium in respect of this event.

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
