Wednesday 2nd March 2022:

LONDON UNDERGROUND INDUSTRIAL ACTION - EARLY MORNING ONLY

Due to a planned London Underground strike, Chiltern Railways will be operating an amended timetable until approximately 08.00. In particular, please note the following:

  • No Chiltern Railways services will operate between Marylebone and stations to Great Missenden.
  • No Chiltern Railways services will call at South Ruislip; some trains will call at West Ruislip instead.
  • A limited train service will operate between Great Missenden and stations to Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
  • In the morning peak period, some trains are amended to operate between Aylesbury Vale Parkway, Aylesbury and Marylebone (via Princes Risborough).
  • There will also be some minor changes to services on the Marylebone - Oxford/Birmingham routes.
  • A normal timetable is planned to operate after approximately 08.00.

Additionally, planned late-night engineering works will be taking place in the Aylesbury area, and a further-amended timetable will be in operation after 23:00.

Some late night journeys will take considerably longer than usual, and may involve travel via alternative routes, on other operator's services and/or rail replacement bus services.

Finalised timetables are uploaded into online journey planners 9 weeks before the date of operation. Please check your journey in the planner at the following link: https://buy.chilternrailways.co.uk/. Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
