Planned engineering works will be taking place at multiple locations on Chiltern Railways routes, and a heavily-amended timetable will be in operation.

Most journeys will take considerably longer than usual, and may involve travel via alternative routes, on other operator's services and/or rail replacement bus services.

A limited train service will operate on the following route sections:

  • Marylebone - stations to Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham).
  • High Wycombe - stations to Oxford.
  • High Wycombe - stations to Birmingham Moor Street.
  • Princes Risborough - stations to Aylesbury.
  • Leamington Spa - stations to Stratford Upon Avon.

Rail Replacement buses will operate on the following route sections:

  • Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Bicester Village - Bicester North.
  • Hillingdon (LU) - Denham - Gerrards Cross - Beaconsfield - High Wycombe.
  • West Ruislip - Hillingdon (LU).
  • Warwick Parkway - stations to Birmingham Moor Street (after 23:30).
  • High Wycombe - Amersham (scheduled Arriva 1/Carousel 1A services).
  • Haddenham & Thame Parkway - Aylesbury (scheduled Arriva 280 service).

London Underground services should be used between Baker Street and Hillingdon, and also between central London, Wembley Central, Northolt, South Ruislip and West Ruislip.

Finalised timetables are uploaded into online journey planners 9 weeks before the date of operation. Please check your journey in the planner at the following link: https://buy.chilternrailways.co.uk/. Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
