An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:
- Planned engineering works.
- (London Underground track maintenance work between Harrow on the Hill and Amersham).
- Planned engineering works (late night).
- (Routine maintenance at Oxford).
No Chiltern Railways trains will operate on the route Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway for the entire day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Beaconsfield:
- Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
Additionally, the railway is closed between Oxford Parkway and Oxford after 22.55, affecting all late night services to/from Oxford. During this period, rail replacement buses will operate between Oxford Parkway - Oxford and/or Bicester North - Oxford.
Sunday 3rd May 2026:
An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:
- Planned engineering works (early morning).
- (Signalling works and routine maintenance at Oxford).
- Planned engineering works.
- (London Underground track maintenance work between Harrow on the Hill and Amersham).
No Chiltern Railways trains will operate on the routes Marylebone - High Wycombe - Aylesbury/Oxford/Banbury until after 08.30.
No Chiltern Railways trains will operate on the route Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway for the entire day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Beaconsfield:
- Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
Additionally, the railway is closed between Oxford Parkway and Oxford until 08.35, affecting all early morning services to/from Oxford. During this period, rail replacement buses will operate between Oxford - Oxford Parkway and/or Oxford - Bicester North.
Monday 4th May 2026 (May Day Bank Holiday):

- Planned engineering works.
- (London Underground track maintenance work between Harrow on the Hill and Amersham).
No Chiltern Railways trains will operate on the route Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway for the entire day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Beaconsfield:
- Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

For the most accurate journey planning, please use an online journey planner, noting that for some journeys, travel times will be extended.
- Customers traveling between Aylesbury and London Marylebone are advised to use train services via Princes Risborough / High Wycombe.
- Customers traveling between Stoke Mandeville, Wendover or Great Missenden and London Marylebone are advised to use the rail replacement bus services to / from Beaconsfield for connecting train services to / from London Marylebone.
- Customers requiring London Underground stations between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Amersham are advised to take rail replacement bus services provided by London Underground between these stations. Journey times will be much longer than usual. A change of buses at Rickmansworth may be needed to complete your journey.
