Warning

Service amendments due to extreme Hot Weather

The Met Office have issued Amber heat warnings for Tuesday this week (23 June), increasing to a Red heat warning for Wednesday & Thursday (24 & 25 June).

Consequently, on all three days, and to ensure the safe operation of the railway, we will be running fewer trains than normal.

Details of the amended train service will be published as soon as plans are complete.

We strongly advise you to avoid travelling if possible. Trains are running at a greatly reduced levels to ensure everyone's safety, which means you may experience significant delays and very busy conditions.
