Advice for residents travelling on the Aylesbury via Amersham line during August Bank Holiday weekend

Preparation for the brand new high-speed railway will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August 2017. As a result, London Euston station will be closed and trains and stations on the Chiltern line are expected to be extremely busy.

Residents on the Aylesbury via Amersham line are advised that trains will run at a reduced service during the works. Additionally, buses will replace trains between Aylesbury and Aylesbury Vale Parkway for a period during the afternoon and evening.

Passengers are urged to plan their journeys, check before they travel and allow extra time to reach their destination. Additional travel information can be found at www.chilternrailways.co.uk/news/euston-works.
