Advice for Oxford residents travelling during August Bank Holiday weekend

Preparation for the brand new high-speed railway will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August 2017. As a result, Euston station will be closed and trains and stations on the Chiltern line are expected to be extremely busy.

Customers from the Oxford area are advised to check the timetable for amended times during the works.

For those travelling to the Challenge Cup Final on 26 August, or the Tottenham Hotspur vs Burnley match on 27 August, most trains will be calling at Wembley Stadium Station before and after the game.

Passengers are urged to plan their journeys, check before they travel and allow extra time to reach their destination. Additional travel information can be found at www.chilternrailways.co.uk/news/euston-works.
