Temporary ticket office closure
The ticket office at Denham will be closed from 27 April for approximately 10 weeks.
Regular customers will be aware that significant structural repairs have been needed at Denham station over the last couple of years. We would like to thank customers for your patience while these disruptive works have been carried out.
The next stage of these ongoing necessary works will start on Monday 27 April, affecting the ticket office area and staff accommodation.
This means that the ticket office will be closed for approximately 10 weeks from 27 April 2026.
Customers requiring Passenger Assistance
If you know you are going to be travelling, you can call 03456 005 165 (selecting option 3 then option 3 again), to book assistance at least 2 hours before travel, and our Assisted travel Team will make special arrangements for travel from all our stations.

If you’re deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired, use the NGT app and dial 0870 240 9598 and request 03456 005 165 (selecting option 3 then option 3 again).

During the closure:
- Station staff will be available to help customers during weekday & Saturday morning peak-time hours. They will be unable to sell tickets.
- The waiting room and toilets will be open during normal staffing hours.
- The ticket machine will still be in service, offering tickets to all UK destinations, for same day and future travel.
- Pay as you go with contactless customers will still be able to touch in / out as normal.
- Tickets may be purchased online at chilternrailways.co.uk, by using the Chiltern Railways App or from 3rd party retailers. Tickets can be collected from the ticket machine.
- Customers wishing to buy or renew discount Railcards are advised to purchase them from an alternative staffed station (eg Gerrards Cross or London Marylebone) or online at railcard.co.uk . Some types of Railcard are only available to buy online.
