Saturday 14 March & Sunday 15 March 2026:
An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:
- Planned engineering works.
- (Track works at Marylebone, Willesden Green and West Ruislip).
- Marylebone station is closed to Chiltern Railways services all weekend.
- (Marylebone Bakerloo Line station is open as normal).
The railway is closed between Marylebone and Gerrards Cross/Harrow on the Hill all weekend.
Chiltern Railways trains will operate as follows:
- Gerrards Cross - stations to Oxford.
- Bicester North - stations to Birmingham Moor Street.
- Amersham - stations to Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
Connecting rail replacement buses will operate as follows:
- Hillingdon (LU) - Denham - Gerrards Cross.
Bicester North - Bicester Village.
Connecting London Underground services should be used as follows:
- Metropolitan Line: Baker Street - Hillingdon.
- Metropolitan Line: Baker Street - stations to Amersham.
For London - Oxford and Bicester Village, Great Western Railway services should be used as follows:
- Paddington - Reading - Oxford (- Bicester Village).
For London - Banbury and stations to Birmingham, Great Western Railway/Cross Country services should be used as follows:
- Paddington - Reading - Oxford - Banbury - Leamington Spa - Birmingham New Street.
All journeys to/from London will take considerably longer than usual.
