Late evening on Monday 1 - Thursday 4 December 2025 (inclusive)
Late night engineering work in the Oxford area, Monday to Thursday this week, will affect services to Oxford that normally leave London Marylebone after 2230.
The railway is closed in the Oxford area after 00.30, affecting the following late night services from Marylebone on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings:
- 22.34 Marylebone - Oxford is diverted to Bicester North.
- 23.11 Marylebone - Oxford departs at 23.16 and is diverted to Bicester North and Banbury.
- 00.01 Marylebone - Oxford is diverted to Bicester North and Banbury.
Passengers travelling to Bicester Village, Oxford Parkway and Oxford on the above services should change at Bicester North for a connecting rail replacement bus service.
Rail replacement buses will operate as follows during this period:
- Bicester North - Bicester Village - Oxford Parkway - Oxford.
- Oxford - Banbury (direct).
Additionally, the following service is retimed as shown:
- 23.16 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe) departs earlier at 23.11.
Sunday 7th December 2025:
An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:
- Planned engineering works (morning).
- (Track works at Aylesbury).
The railway is closed between Aylesbury and Little Kimble/Wendover until 14.00. During this period, rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Princes Risborough and with London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street at Amersham:
- Princes Risborough - Little Kimble - Aylesbury.
- Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
