What to Expect at the Christmas Market
Market Place stalls lean toward local crafts, artisan gifts, and seasonal food. At the castle’s Winter Food & Drink Village, expect mulled wine, hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows, and festive treats set against Guy’s Tower and the East Front.
Adult & Child Entertainment Including Ice Rink Skating and the Light Trail
At town events, look for a vintage carousel, roaming performers, and fire spinners during the Victorian Evening. At the castle, highlights include a brand-new light trail illuminating 64 acres, an open-air ice rink, a traditional family pantomime in the Woodland Theatre, ‘Stories with Santa’, winter birds of prey, and ‘Carols at the Castle’ on December 20, 2025.
Walk from Warwick Train Station
The walk to Warwick Castle is about a mile. Exit Warwick train station onto Station Road and head toward the town. Continue to High Street, then follow signs for Castle Lane. The castle entrance appears on the right. For Market Place, continue from High Street into the town centre. Total walking time is roughly 15 to 20 minutes.
