Sunday 9th February 2020:
Due to Network Rail engineering works, the line through Wembley Stadium is closed all day, together with with HS2 preparation works at West Ruislip. A heavily-amended timetable will operate on all Chiltern Railways routes, and most journeys will be affected. Passengers may need to travel via alternative routes, on other operator's services, London Underground services and/or rail replacement bus services. Journey times will be considerably longer than usual.
Also, due to engineering works between Birmingham and Stourbridge Junction, no Chiltern Railways services will operate between Kidderminster and Birmingham Moor Street. Chiltern Railways Marylebone/Birmingham services will serve Birmingham Moor Street ONLY.
Passengers travelling to/from Birmingham Snow Hill and stations to Kidderminster are advised to use West Midlands Trains services.
Additionally, Chiltern Railways are advising customers travelling on Sunday 9th February to only travel if necessary due to Storm Ciara. Rain and strong winds with gusts of 50 to 60 mph are expected across many parts of the UK and a speed restriction will be in place across the route which will lead to extended journey times. These extended journey times do not show in the published timetables. [Information added 14:15 07-Feb-2020]
Chiltern Railways train services planned to operate as follows (in both directions), however disruption may occur on the day due to the impact of Storm Ciara:
Rail Replacement bus services will operate as follows (in both directions):
