An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

  • Wembley Stadium event - FA Cup Semi-Final #1 (Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace - 17.15 KO).
  • Planned engineering works at multiple locations.
  • (HS2 viaduct works near Wendover and late night routine maintenance at Oxford).

In respect of the Wembley stadium event, a heavily-modified timetable will be in operation. In particular, it will not be possible to operate any trains from/to Birmingham Moor Street, Solihull, Dorridge, Lapworth, Hatton or Warwick for the entire day. Frequent, high-capacity trains will be in operation between Warwick Parkway and stations to Wembley Stadium and Marylebone, and vice-versa, both before and after the match. Additionally, rail replacement buses will operate between Leamington Spa and stations to Stratford Upon Avon.

Additionally, the railway is closed between Amersham and Aylesbury all day. No Chiltern Railways train services will operate between Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham). Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with London Underground Metropolitan Line services to/from Baker Street at Amersham.

  • Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

The railway is also closed between Oxford Parkway and Oxford after 22.55, affecting all late night services to/from Oxford. During this period, rail replacement buses will operate between Oxford Parkway - Oxford and/or Bicester North - Oxford.

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
