An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:
- Planned engineering works (late night).
- (Routine maintenance in the Oxford area).
- Forecast of extreme hot weather. Service reductions in place between 1100 & 2000.
Chiltern Railways will be running a significantly reduced train service from 1100 until around 2000, and we are advising customers to only travel if essential.

We strongly urge all customers to proactively consider whether they need to travel today, as there is a high risk of disruption and the likelihood is that travel will be uncomfortable. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Additionally, the railway is closed in the Oxford area after 23.15, affecting the following late night services from Marylebone:
- 22.06 Marylebone - Oxford is diverted to Bicester North.
- 22.34 Marylebone - Oxford is diverted to Bicester North.
- 23.11 Marylebone - Oxford - Banbury departs at 23.16 and is diverted to Bicester North.
- 00.01 Marylebone - Oxford is diverted to Bicester North.
- 00.22 Oxford - Banbury is CANCELLED.
Passengers travelling to Bicester Village, Oxford Parkway and Oxford on the above services should change at Bicester North for a connecting rail replacement bus service.
Rail replacement buses will operate as follows during this period:
- Bicester North - Bicester Village - Oxford Parkway - Oxford.
- Oxford - Banbury (direct).
Additionally, the following service is retimed as shown:
- 23.16 Marylebone - Aylesbury (via High Wycombe) departs earlier at 23.11.
