Monday 1st January 2024:

An amended timetable will be in operation, in respect of the following:

• Public holiday: New Year's Day.
• Planned engineering works.
• Euston - Birmingham New Street route closure.

An amended timetable will be in operation all day, with a slightly later than usual start of service.

Additionally, the railway is CLOSED between Amersham and Aylesbury all day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Beaconsfield:

• Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

In respect of the Euston - Birmingham New Street closure, an enhanced Chiltern Railways service will operate between Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street, with lengthened and some additional trains.

Due to over-length trains, Kings Sutton, Hatton and Lapworth will be served by rail replacement buses as follows:

• Bicester North - Kings Sutton - Banbury.
• Warwick Parkway - Hatton - Lapworth - Dorridge.
• These buses should be used for local journeys to/from Kings Sutton, Hatton and Lapworth ONLY.

Any journey checked outside of this timescale may be subject to change; please double-check how these amendments are due to affect your travel plans. For some engineering works and special events at Wembley Stadium, timetables may be released closer to the date of operation.
