Chiltern Railways Car Park Tariff Change

Effective from 22nd July the cost of a car park season ticket (weekly, monthly, and annual) will increase at some Chiltern Railways stations. Single day charges are not changing, although car park season tickets will continue to offer the best-value option. Any car park season tickets purchased prior to 22nd July will remain valid until its specified expiry date.

These changes follow £15m of investment Chiltern Railways has made in its car parks over the last five years, which has included the provision of 1,200 new spaces. This investment has also included the roll-out of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), smartphone payment options and car park integration with ticket machines to make it hassle-free for customers to use our car parks. This price increase will mean that Chiltern Railways can continue to invest in our car parks and keep pace with changing technology, travel habits and customer expectations into the future.

We encourage customers to speak to a member of staff or to view posters on display at stations to understand how prices are changing at the car park they use. The full list of changes can also be found in the PDF file at the bottom of this page.
