Lost Property

If you lose an item on one of our trains or at one of our stations, you will need to use our website Lost Property form to e-mail our lost property office or complete a lost property form from one of our stations.
Oxford station - Any items lost at Oxford station need to be reported to GWR. https://www.gwr.com/help-and-support/lost-property
Our lost property office is at London Marylebone station and is open for collections Monday to Friday : 1200 to 2000 hrs.
Credit and Debit cards
If a Credit or Debit card is handed into our lost property department, we have an obligation to protect a customer's details.  All cards will be destroyed within 24 hours of receipt. Customers who have misplaced or lost their card, should contact their bank at the first opportunity and report the relevant card(s) missing.  If you contact us and are unable to collect your card within a reasonable time period (one hour), we will have to destroy any cards present for your security. We will log the cards received/destroyed and communicate the relevant details to you.
Please note it can take two weeks for an item to arrive at our lost property office.
Lost Property Item Charge
Laptops, tablet computers and other high-value electronic items £20.00
Mobile phones, personal stereos and other similar electronic items £10.00
Books, umbrellas, hats, scarves and gloves £2.00
All other items £3.00

Please note: Chiltern Railways is not responsible for any items left on it's premises or trains although we will always do our best to trace and return lost property.
