Tips for finding our best fares
Book early & book online
• The earlier you book, the cheaper your fare. Often these tickets sell really quickly, so to ensure you get yourself a bargain make sure you buy in advance of your departure date.

Avoid rush hours
• Rush hour means higher demand making it less likely that you will find a cheap ticket. Travel during quieter hours and you could reduce your fare significantly.
• If you are able to travel at the quieter times of day then our bargain Super Off-Peak ticket is for you. Valid on a variety of off peak trains to London Marylebone and the Midlands, the Super Off-Peak ticket allows you to come back within 1 month of travelling.
• Traveling to London? Arrive in the capital on any train after 1345hrs, 7 days a week. Come back from London within 1 month. Mondays to Fridays come back on any train from 1100 to 1520hrs, or from 2000hrs. Saturdays and Sundays come back on any train from 1100hrs.
• Traveling to the Midlands? Our great value Super Off-Peak ticket is valid on any trains leaving London Marylebone from 1100-1520hrs, or from 2000hrs. Saturday and Sundays it’s valid on trains leaving Marylebone from 1100hrs. Come back from the Midlands within a month on any train arriving in Marylebone after 1345hrs.
• Our Super Off-Peak fares are available as part of a through fare ticket from most stations to and from the West Midlands. Including connecting travel with London Midlands, Arriva, Cross Country and Virgin Trains
Be flexible with your dates
• If you can, be flexible about when you travel, our cheapest tickets are available at weekends but these obviously sell out first. If you can travel mid-week you're more likely to get the cheapest tickets.
Use your railcard
• If you have a rail card you can get a further discount on even our lowest fares subject to terms and conditions. Valid Railcards include 16 - 25, Senior, Friends and Family, Disabled and the Network Railcard.
