How does it work?
Ask for PLUSBUS when buying your train ticket, for unlimited bus travel around town on all participating bus operators’ services. Your bus travel can be at the start, the finish, or both parts of your train journey. For each town there is one zone that covers the whole urban area. With your PLUSBUS ticket you can travel as much as you like by bus within this zone.

PLUSBUS can be added to “walk-up” and “advance purchase” ticket types:
• single,
• day return,
• period return (you will need to specify the date of your return journey)
• season tickets (for set periods, to match the most popular train season ticket: 7-days, 1-month, 3-months, a year).

What is the fare?
Most PLUSBUS tickets are priced around £2 to £3 a day, depending on the size of the town or city. With a Railcard you can save 1/3 off the PLUSBUS ticket price (usual Railcard time and minimum fare restrictions apply). Children (aged 5-15) pay half the adult PLUSBUS day ticket price.

Where do I buy PLUSBUS?
Simply ask for PLUSBUS when buying your train ticket at the ticket office of any staffed station, or by phone from our Telesales team (08456 005 165; 0700 to 2000). PLUSBUS can save you money and is more convenient than buying separate tickets. What’s more you can pay with cash, credit or debit card.
