Local Bus Services

We work with our colleagues in the bus and taxi industries and with local authorities along our route to try to make it as easy as possible for you to travel to and from our stations, whatever method you choose.

  • Full details of bus links, taxi availability, bike and car parking at all of our stations are detailed in the Station Information section of this website.
  • At many stations we offer through ticketing between bus and train. Detailed information is available in our 'Onward Travel' leaflet, available at all staffed stations. Alternatively, you can download a copy using the link at the bottom of this page.

Information about Taxis at all National Rail stations is also available from the TrainTaxi website.

We also run a number of dedicated bus links (see the attachments below for timetables):

Bicester Taxibus

Bicester Taxibus collecting passengers in the morning peak. The Bicester Taxibus introduces a new timetable on Monday 19th May in response to passenger feedback and to accommodate changes in our Summer timetable.

The Taxibus is a regular, reliable Rail link service designed to be easier and cheaper than driving to Bicester North Station.

It runs Monday to Friday in peak times following a set route between Bure Park, Greenwood and Langford Village to meet key trains to London Marylebone. You are also welcome to ‘hail and ride’ as long as this is done in a safe place for it to stop. In the evening peak the Taxibus meets key trains arriving from London Marylebone to take you home again. Passengers using the station can also take advantage of the Taxibus during off peak times by calling 01869 32 35 35.

To download a timetable or find our more about the Bicester Taxibus, please download from the link at the bottom of the page.

Fares for the Bicester Taxibus are as follows:
• Single - £2
• Day Return - £3
• 7 Day Season Ticket - £12
• Annual - £480

Children (15 years old or under) £1 per single journey, £2 return. Season tickets are available from Bicester North ticket office. You can also buy through tickets from most stations on the National Rail network to the Taxibus. There are no railcard discounts on the Taxibus.
