Sunday 18 May to Saturday 13 December 2008 Chiltern Railways Timetable
We continue to listen to feedback from passengers and, where practical, our new timetable includes the changes you’ve asked for. Other changes are primarily designed to further improve the punctuality of your services which, over the last 12 months, has reached our best ever of 95% of trains on time.
The most significant timetable alterations for May 2008 are:
- Changes to some peak stops at West Ruislip and South Ruislip to increase connections with London Underground’s Central Line.
- Starting the former 0835 from Aylesbury via High Wycombe at Princes Risborough instead. This allows 3 busy peak trains to be increased in length by 1 carriage each.
- A later train on Saturday nights from Aylesbury via High Wycombe.
- A later train from London to Warwick and Warwick Parkway on Friday nights – ideal for theatre-goers.
- Longer trains on many services on Friday nights and at weekends, providing more seats to meet increasing demand at these times.
- Regular through Sunday services to Stratford-upon-Avon reintroduced for the summer, allowing an easy day out in Shakespeare Country.
You can download a full timetable book from the link at the bottom of this page. Please note that this is a large PDF file and may take some time to download if you're not using a broadband connection.
You can get timetable books and pocket timetable cards from all Chiltern Railways staffed stations.
