Track improvement work : Sunday 24 February

Please note the following changes to our service:

    Kidderminster - Birmingham - Stratford-upon-Avon - Leamington Spa - Banbury - High Wycombe - London

No trains will operate between Warwick Parkway and Birmingham.

No trains will operate between Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon.

There will be 2 trains per hour between London Marylebone and Warwick Parkway.

Rail replacement buses will be in operation between Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon and between Warwick Parkway and Birmingham Snow Hill.

Passengers travelling between Birmingham and Leamington Spa and stations south thereof are advised to use CrossCountry services to/from Birmingham New Street, changing at Leamington Spa.

In addition to the above engineering works at the north-end of our route, a major event is taking place at Wembley National Stadium at the south-end of our line. Therefore, train services are likely to be busier than normal due to extra passengers travelling to/from Wembley Stadium. We have taken account of this by adding carriages to our trains and ensuring most trains call additionally at Wembley Stadium station. These changes have been implemented to the Sunday 24 February timetable, in addition to the changes required because of the engineering works. For more information and travel tips if you are travelling to the event at Wembley Stadium, click here.

    Aylesbury - Amersham - London

There will be no Chiltern Railways trains on this route today. Buses will operate from Aylesbury to Beaconsfield, calling at Stoke Mandeville, Wendover, Great Missenden and Amersham.

Change at Amersham for London Underground services for stations to Harrow-on-the-Hill.

Change at Beaconsfield for connecting trains to/from London Marylebone.

Please allow extra time to make your journey. Please note that these timetable changes are subject to short notice amendments, so please do check back here nearer to the date of your journey.

Unless specified otherwise, Chiltern Railways tickets will be accepted on the alternative routes and operators which we advise you to use.
