Track improvement work : Saturday 16 February 2008

Please note the following changes to our service:

Please be aware that due to essential track improvement work there will be NO CHILTERN RAILWAYS TRAINS running between Leamington Spa and Birmingham Snow Hill.

Rail replacement buses will operate to an amended timetable between Leamington Spa and Birmingham Snow Hill. Warwick, Warwick Parkway, Dorridge and Solihull will be served by rail replacement buses. If you are travelling from Hatton or Lapworth, please use the Help Point on the platform to arrange alternative transport.

There will also be no Chiltern Railways trains operating between Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa. Buses will replace trains between Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa.

Passengers travelling between Birmingham and London are advised to travel on CrossCountry trains between Birmingham New Street and Banbury and Chiltern Railways trains between Banbury and London Marylebone.

If you are travelling between the West Midlands and London, please allow extra time to make your journey. Passengers are strongly advised to check times before travelling.

Minor Late-Notice changes to published timetable
Please be aware of these late-notice late night changes which have had to be made to the published timetable due to Operational and Planning reasons. These changes do not appear in the printed timetable booklet or the below PDF timetable file.

2140 Marylebone – Leamington Spa will terminate at Banbury at 2305
2340 Leamington Spa – Banbury will NOT run

Therefore the following buses are revised:

2333 Leamington Spa – Birmingham Snow Hill (slow) will start Banbury at 2310, Leamington Spa at 2345, then run 12 minutes later throughout.
2333 Leamington Spa – Birmingham Snow Hill (fast) will start Banbury at 2310, Leamington Spa at 2345, then run 12 minutes later throughout.
2359 Warwick Parkway – Dorridge (local minibus via Hatton and Lapworth) will start Warwick Parkway at 0010 and then run 11 minutes later throughout.
The 2340 Leamington Spa – Banbury is not replaced by a bus. Passengers should use the existing 2351 Leamington Spa – Banbury rail replacement bus service.

There are no engineering works on the Aylesbury-Amersham-Marylebone line. Therefore, a normal advertised timetable will run on this route.
