As part of our May timetable changes we also doubled our service from Northolt Park.
The new timetable is now available to passengers and provides trains weekly every half hour to London Marylebone and High Wycombe.
Cath Proctor, Managing Director of Chiltern Railways said: “We always listen to what our passengers want and continuously try and improve our service.
“We are very pleased therefore, that our strengthened service from Northolt Park will improve convenience for our passengers.”
Northolt Park is situated in Cadogan Court in South Harrow. If you’re having problems finding the station lookout for the nearby Netto. The booking office at Northolt Park is open weekday mornings. Oyster cards (except Pay as You Go Oyster Cards) and Freedom Passes can be used on Chiltern Railway services within the Greater London boundary.
Councillor John Nickolay, Chairman of the Traffic Panel said: “The Harrow council is grateful for Chiltern Railways doubling the train service from Northolt Park.
“This is something the Harrow Public Transport Users'
Association and local Councillors in both Harrow and Ealing have been seeking for many years.
“We hope that it will encourage people in the area to travel by train. Northolt Park is a hidden asset and it is great that we will have an increased service to meet the needs of our residents."
Before the Second World War, the train station was a major transportation hub for a local race course.
Councillor Nickolay added: "It is a station full of history and, linked with the prospect of significant improvements to the nearby road system next year, we look forward to it becoming a major hub once again"
