B.O.G.O.F. to Stratford - free travel with Chiltern Railways

Date: 06 Jul 2006 10:29

Chiltern Railways is offering passengers the chance to BOGOF to Stratford upon Avon throughout July – that’s ‘buy-one-get-one-free’.

Passengers who buy an off peak ticket to Stratford on any weekday until 28 July can take a friend absolutely free, saving up to £25.30. The offer runs from stations in the London and Buckinghamshire area (see Notes to Editors).

Seona Shuttleworth, Chiltern Railways’ Marketing and PR Executive, said: “July is the busy tourist season and what better attraction to visit than the birthplace of William Shakespeare himself to enjoy some of the best of English culture.

“Chiltern Railways runs seven trains a day from London Marylebone, through Buckinghamshire and on to Stratford, and we wanted to offer our passengers a really good deal to visit this beautiful area at one of the best times of the year!”

To qualify for the offer, one passenger will simply need to buy an adult Saver or Cheap Day Return ticket to Stratford from any station between London Marylebone and Banbury (inclusive) and a friend can travel for free.

Special leaflets are available from Chiltern Railways stations, or visit the website at www.chilternrailways.co.uk
