Passengers with tickets for Virgin / London Midland services between West Midlands and London are welcome to travel with Chiltern Railways (for no extra charge) during the overrunning engineering works at Rugby. The line is expected to remain closed until at least Friday morning.
From Birmingham, passengers should use Snow Hill or Moor Street stations.
From Birmingham International / Coventry, passengers should either drive to Warwick Parkway or travel with CrossCountry Trains to Banbury for onward Chiltern services to Marylebone.
We will do all we can to provide extra capacity and staff throughout the day, although trains are expected to be particularly busy. Please accept our apologies if your journey is less comfortable than usual.
Please note that the 0952 from Birmingham Snow Hill / 0955 from Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone is scheduled to run with only 2 carriages, and should therefore be avoided if possible.

Tickets to London Marylebone from the West Midlands are significantly cheaper than those into Euston, so if you haven't already purchased a ticket, make sure you choose the cheapest option for your journey. A quick summary of our most popular fares can be found by clicking here.
We look forward to welcoming you on board.
