Carling Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 24 February

Date: 11 Feb 2008 11:55

On Sunday 24 February, the Carling Cup Final takes place at Wembley Stadium.

If you are planning to attend this event, we've put together a dedicated page on this website giving you advice on how to get there and travel tips to ensure you have the most comfortable journey as possible when travelling with us. Visit www.chilternrailways.co.uk/wembley for information about this.

Please be aware that engineering works are taking place between Birmingham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa on this day so you are advised to check your travel times before travelling. Click here for more information.

If you are not travelling to the game, please be aware that although we will be lengthening our trains where possible, our services are expected to be busier than normal due to the increased numbers of passengers travelling on our line. Also, please note that in addition to the engineering works, there will be timetable changes because many trains will be calling additionally at Wembley Stadium station. The Sunday 24 February timetable is available by clicking the link below.

Our trains are going to be especially busy for the hour after the event has finished so if you are not travelling to the event, you may wish to avoid trains leaving London Marylebone between 1645 and 1800 to ensure a more comfortable journey.

Please be aware that alcohol is not permitted on any Chiltern Railways train on Sunday 24 February.
