The new Chiltern Railways timetable comes into effect on Sunday 18 May 2008.
The December 2007 timetable by and large works well, and strikes a good balance in meeting passenger and stakeholder needs. But, as ever, some ideas for improvement have come from passengers and stakeholders.
The attached substantive proposals are presented here for stakeholder consultation. Please note that: (i) Chiltern Railways are checking the proposals can be resourced without adverse consequence on other aspects of the timetable and (ii) the proposals are subject to Network Rail, government, and regulatory approval.
If you wish to feedback on the proposed May 2008 times changes, please email timetableconsultation@chilternrailways.co.uk. All comments will be taken into consideration for the final May 2008 timetable.
Please also see the proposed Monday to Friday May 2008 Birmingham/High Wycombe line timetable and the Saturdays only May 2008 Birmingham/High Wycombe line timetable. The proposed changes have been colour-coded.
