Our mobile and self-print tickets have changed

Date: 08 Feb 2010 14:54

We now have a new improved booking system, enabling you to book your train tickets faster and easier. As part of the upgrade we have made several changes to our mobile and self-print tickets which we want you to know about.

The upgrade to our booking system now means that you will only need one username and password when purchasing tickets on our website. In-order for us to maintain the highest levels of security you will be required to re-register your details before purchasing your next ticket.

Extra Delivery Options Avaliable
We now have one booking system where you can buy your Advance Tickets from £5 alongside our other fares, giving you greater flexibility and choice of delivery options. Just choose your delivery preference at the end of the booking process:

  • Self-print
  • Mobile tickets downloaded to your phone
  • Post
  • Collect from the ticket machine at the station

Changes to our mobile tickets
We will soon be announcing details about how you can purchase your tickets from your mobile, but before we can do that we have to make a few changes to the way that our mobile tickets work. They have been made more secure allowing you to save your tickets on your phone, this means that only phones which have internet access* can receive these tickets.

See our full instructions on how to use our mobile tickets.

Changes to our self-print tickets
Self-print tickets will no longer be sent you as an email; you can now print them straight from the booking confirmation page. Should you need to reprint your tickets, you can access them as a PDF by logging into your account.

If you have any questions please feel free to email us: marketing@chilternrailways.co.uk
