Colmore to London rail link

Today we launched our brand new service from Birmingham Snow Hill, located in the heart of Colmore Business District (CBD), as part of a complete overhaul of their timetable.
The train operator anticipates that the service will be a big hit with Birmingham business passengers, who will be able to take advantage of the fast intercity-style silver trains to and from the capital.
At peak times, corporate travellers can now step out of their office and board trains in the centre of the business district, enabling them to benefit from faster Mainline trains to the capital from Snow Hill station. The decision was taken following close consultation with Birmingham’s business community in order to develop services in line with their needs.
Whilst fast trains already operate from Birmingham Moor Street, there will now be fast trains from Birmingham Snow Hill to London between 0650 and 0915, reducing the overall journey time from Snow Hill by up to an impressive 22 minutes. All trains leaving London Marylebone between 1730 and 2200 will also stop at Birmingham Snow Hill, making it simple to return in the evening.
