Chiltern Railways has released 50,000 Advance tickets for 16th December – 3 rd January giving more reasons for travellers to book early for their Christmas and New Year getaway.
Advance tickets start from as little as £5 and are available when you buy online from the Chiltern Railways website or when you book in advance from the ticket office.
They are also available on the Chiltern Railways award winning app. Anyone who books in advance will have the cheapest option shown to them and there is no booking fee, so the process could not be simpler.
The company have decided to double their allocation this year to give their passengers an extra Christmas treat. Thomas Ableman, Director of Chiltern Railways explains: “Christmas is an expensive time of year, but if you book wisely you can find a bargain.
“With 50,000 Advance tickets starting from as little as £5 between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone, you may even find you have enough left over for an extra present for yourself.”
Chiltern Railways recently completed a major upgrade to make journey time between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street quicker and create the Chiltern Mainline. Journey times between the first and second cities are now from as little as 90 minutes.
