Joseph Turner's In the Light of Claude will be the most in-depth examination of the artist's work about this subject to date and it opens in the capital on March 14th, running until June 5th.
The artists created a revolution in painting at the beginning of the 19th century by responding to the bustling modern industrial landscape with a freer style and new approaches to composition.
People that get
cheap train tickets to Birmingham will see the exhibition, which offers the chance to compare closely related works of both Turner and Claude. On his death Turner left the National Gallery two paintings on the condition that they would be hung between two works by Claude.
At a bargain
