Q What will the car park prices be at AVP?
A From 8 June 2009: £3.00 a day (Monday – Saturday); £13.00 – weekly ticket; £50.00 – monthly ticket ; £525.00 – annual ticket.
Q Why does an empty train always sit behind the 0626 off Aylesbury, this means you walk further down the platform?
A The unit behind the 0626 is uncoupled (separated from the other train) and goes to Aylesbury Vale Parkway to form the 0638 service departing from that station.
Q The 1635 to Marylebone is always full and standing on Fridays. Can we have a longer train?
A Unfortunately we do not have any spare units to make this train longer on Fridays, We keep monitoring passenger counts for future plans.
Q Could we consider an express Route 16 bus service between Bicester North, Bicester Town, Ambrossden (pick up people from the army barracks), and the beginning of the A41, to provide better links between Bicester and AVP to relieve the congestion on the A41?
A This request will be examined by Chiltern Railways and Bucks County Council.
