An "unholy comedic alliance" of puppets and people is being showcased in London as the musical Avenue Q is unleashed across West End audiences.
Performed at the Noel Coward Theatre, this award winning show is brash, politically incorrect and very funny.
Described as the musical for people who do not enjoy musicals, this adults-only show covers some fairly explicit themes using the sort of puppets more normally associated with child friendly shows.
Radio 2's Johnnie Walker said: "Cross Sesame Street with the Muppet Show, give it an X-rating and slap on a government health warning that too much laughter can make your sides ache, and you've got Avenue Q."
It runs every evening at 8pm and there is a matinee performance on Friday at 5.30pm and Saturday at 5pm.
Tickets cost between £10 and £55, with the cheaper seats available on weeknights. They can be booked via their website or a number of providers including Channelfly Tickets on 0870 040 0058.
Fans travelling in from Birmingham and the Midlands can catch the Chiltern Railways line which stops at London Marylebone and then switch to the Underground. The nearest tube station is Leicester Square.
