The musical of 80s cult film Hairspray is showcasing a winning combination of big laughs and big hair in London's West End.
It follows the story of Tracy Turnblad, a young girl who dreams of performing on a local TV dance show.
When she finally gains a role on the programme and wins local fame, she seeks to topple the "reigning princess", win the love of her crush and overcome prejudice.
One reviewer said: "This may be brainless pleasure, but its heart - a lovely duckling who wins through without becoming a nasty swan - is triumphantly in the right place."
Tickets for this family-friendly musical cost between £20 and £30 and can be booked by calling 0870 040 0046.
People journeying in from Birmingham and the Midlands for this musical can take advantage of the Chiltern Railways line which stops at many of the smaller towns before travelling to London Marylebone.
