James Blunt to play the O2

October 14th, 2008

Chart-topping singer/songwriter James Blunt plays at London's O2 Arena in October.

The former military man will be performing some of his chart-topping hits, which have included You're Beautiful, Goodbye My Lover and Carry You Home.

Debut album Back to Bedlam was released in 2004 and has since sold more than 11 million copies worldwide.

The album reached number one in 18 countries, the top ten in 35, was nominated for five Grammys and won two MTV awards and two Brit awards.

Blunt, who served as a captain with the British Army in Kosovo, says his music is a "necessary expression" of his life.

Latest album All The Lost Souls was released last year, written in collaboration with several other writers and recorded in Los Angeles with Back to Bedlam producer Tom Rothrock and Blunt's touring band of two and a half years.

James Blunt plays the O2 Arena on October 14th.

Tickets are £32.50, to book call 0844 856 0202.
