June 13th - 20th, 2008
Sculpture fans visiting the capital in June might well wish to head to Mayfair to catch London Sculpture Week, which starts on June 13th.
Featuring major exhibitions from nine collectors, the event will showcase sculptural work spanning 4,500 years of history, from Ancient Greece to the present day.
Among those contributing will be The Fine Art Society in conjunction with Robert Bowman, Sam Fogg, Robin Katz Fine Art and Rupert Wace Ancient Art.
For the first time, this year's show will also feature an exhibition from the Alexia Goethe Gallery, which celebrates the work of contemporary sculptor Jodie Carey.
Daniella Luxembourg Art will also be displaying for the first time, with a collection of 20th century German work exhibited at 13 Bond Street.
Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the event before it ends on June 20th, with all exhibitions located within walking distance of each other in the Mayfair and St James's area of London.
Those from the Midlands hoping to reach the capital for the show can do so using Chiltern Railways' services.
