Bruce Springsteen plays in London

May 30th - 31st, 2008

Performing with the E Street Band, legendary rock'n'roll mainstay Bruce Springsteen will be treating spectators to a live performance of tracks from the group's first studio album in five years.

The Boss is currently touring the country in support of the record - entitled Magic - and heads to the Emirates Stadium for two consecutive nights from May 30th. For those wishing to attend the event, tickets start at £47.50.

Online travel resource What's on When reports that with a well-deserved reputation as one of rock'n'roll's greatest live performers, Springsteen is known to give each set his all, occasionally treating fans to gigs lasting up to four hours.

Springsteen has enjoyed considerable chart success since he first hit the scene with the debut Greetings From Asbury Park album in 1973, with generations of fans the world over enjoying his maturity, incisive lyrics and versatility as a performer.

Rolling Stone describes the songwriting on his latest record as "intricately wired with outrage and disbelief."

Fans from Birmingham planning on a visit to the capital to see the Boss can reach London on Chiltern Railways.
