Prisoners of the Tower in London

May 20th - October 20th, 2008

Visitors to the Tower of London are able to learn about some of the prison's most notorious captives.

The famous London monument now offers visitors new and exciting audio and visual ways to discover what it was really like to be locked in the tower.

Tourists will be able to play the role of a news reader breaking the story of Guy Fawkes' arrest, mingle with high-status prisoners and immerse themselves in court life.

As well as this, free to every visitor will be the opportunity to take part in a personal prison adventure using new game cards.

Adult tickets for a visit to the tower cost £16.50 at the gate and children gain entry for £9.50. There is a discount for online bookings.

Residents in Birmingham and elsewhere in the Midlands who are intrigued by life in the famous prison can reach the capital quickly and with ease using Chiltern Railways' services.
