October 26th 2007 - April 27th 2008
Photography enthusiasts may be tempted to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London.
The annual competition attempts to celebrate the most impressive and original photos of wildlife from around the globe.
Visitors can see the winning pieces from the 2007 competition on display at the museum until April 27th 2008.
With awards for both adult and child pictures, budding photographers of any age could take this opportunity to see work that has been recognised by the panel of judges.
Also, many other parts of the museum can be enjoyed free of charge.
Tickets for the event cost £7 and £3.50 for concessions, while a family can attend for £18.
Getting to the event could not be easier due to its close proximity to South Kensington tube station, so photography fans from Birmingham and the West Midlands can catch the Chiltern Railways line to the City and change on the Underground.
