Fascination With Nature at the British Museum
May 08th - August 05th, 2008
Visitors to the Royal British Museum in London this summer can enjoy a unique display of Chinese depictions of nature in art.
A display of some extremely fragile and precious ancient artistic creations has been unveiled at the museum.
However, the hangings and paintings can only be seen for a short time as the exhibits are so fragile they cannot be displayed for longer periods, making this potentially a one-off opportunity for those interested in art or Chinese culture.
This unique event is free and visitors to the museum can also enjoy the current exhibition dedicated to the famous Roman general Hadrian.
Reaching the museum is not difficult as it is a short walk from more than four Underground stations, including Holborn and Tottenham Court Road.
The Chiltern Railways line travels throughout the Midlands before arriving into London Marylebone, meaning people outside the capital can reach the exhibition.
