Elvis on Tour at the NIA
June 15th, 2008
Visitors to Birmingham in June may well wish to consider slipping on their blue suede shoes and heading to the National Indoor Arena to catch Lee 'Memphis' King in hip-swinging action.
The Elvis impersonator - billed as the UK's most successful Presley tribute act - plays the arena on June 15th, with tickets available from £22.50 plus booking and transaction fees.
A finalist on the popular BBC television programme the World's Greatest Elvis, King is particularly noted for his attention to the nuances of Elvis' distinctive voice, as well as donning a range of meticulously faithful costumes during the show.
"To me Elvis was the greatest performer and vocalist of the last century and I constantly strive for perfection when I perform his songs," King explains on his website.
For those who wish to attend the event, tickets can be purchased online via theticketfactory.com or by calling 0871 945 6000.
