Eurobeat - Almost Eurovision in Birmingham

Each year, millions of fans across Europe settle in front of their TV for an evening of delirious pop and some inscrutable curiosities in the form of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Now, the enjoyment has been extended with the creation of a musical show dedicated to the competition.

Eurobeat - Almost Eurovision will take the stage by storm in Birmingham from Monday June 9th until Saturday June 14th.

Les Dennis and Sally Lindsay head up the cast for the affectionate send-up of the show that walks in the footsteps of Terry Wogan's famous tongue-in-cheek assessments.

The theatre quotes the Times as explaining the show in terms of "a gigantic tickle ... [that is] instantly, wonderfully funny".

Those resident in London or across the Midlands hoping to get to Birmingham for the show need only hop on a train on the Chiltern Railways line, with the venue only a short walk from the station.
