Angelina's Star Performance at High Wycombe

The High Wycombe Swan offers parents the perfect opportunity to introduce their children to ballet this June, with a production designed to appeal to youngsters.

Angelina's Star Performance is staged by the English National Ballet, to music written by Tchaikovsky.

It follows the magical mouse as she stages her very own performance of Sleeping Beauty for the Queen and uses bright colours and charming costumes to capture children's imaginations and hold their attention.

"The usual childish chat and fidgeting are overcome by the ballet itself but also as the youngsters catch their first glimpse of the beautifully recreated picture book costumes and sets," a reviewer for the Stage stated.

Angelina's Star Performance is a fun and accessible performance, the critic added.
