Charlie and Lola at London's Polka Theatre

Information Updated: 29-04-2008

The stars of hit BBC children's show are to make their first eve stage appearance at London's Polka Theatre this summer.

Charlie and Lola's Best Bestest Play brings to life the fun and excitement of the show and books by using a mix of puppets and music.

The event is designed to hold children spellbound and is particularly good for those aged between four and seven as it uses both the 2-D and 3-D worlds to create a lively and enjoyable play.

Promoters explain that the plot covers some of the most recent episodes: "Will Lola ever tidy her messy room? Will Charlie get Lola to sleep, even though she is not sleepy and she will not go to bed?"

Tickets for this family friendly event cost between £6 and £11.50 and can be booked by calling 020 8543 4888.

Reaching the theatre is easy, as the Chiltern Railways line travels through Birmingham and the Midlands before arriving at London Marylebone, where visitors can catch the Underground to South Wimbledon station.
